[Full-time] Human Resource Officer at The British High Commission, Islamabad

* Responsible for managing the entire recruitment process. Member of interview panels for LE (Locally Engaged) IV – Vc positions. * Conducting the HR briefing for new recruits. * Advertise vacant positions at the BHC, maintaining record of advertisements released, liaising with various sections on the scheduling interviews, sending call and regret letters/emails, sending successful letters, recording response. Coordinating internally for interview panels, preparing and informing section heads of renewal dates for contracts and end of term probation for new recruits. * Responsible for the LE pre-employment reference, medical and security checks, liaising with internal & external organizations as needed.

Database :

* Management of the all LE staff around the mission. Management of the LE HR database. To record and co-ordinate internally with others sections any change of personal circumstances of LE staff. * Responsible for Activity Recording for LE staff.

Administration:

* Addressing appraisal related, advising staff on appraisals procedures. * Update and record appraisal data on spreadsheets, and follow up as necessary. * Preparation of appointment letters, contracts, SUPL, confirmation of appointment, any changes of LE member of staff, reference and disciplinary letters. * Ensuring that the correct final process of departure of LE staff has been completed; liaison with others departments. * Line Management of LE IV.

Staff Welfare:

* Handling staff queries/grievances on sick leave, vacancies and other policies. * To provide cover for the HR Manager when required. * To perform other ad hoc tasks are required.

Skills Required:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; – Have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Urdu; – Should be self-starting, flexible, dynamic and result oriented; – Strong IT skills; – Good team player; – Ability to work under pressure
