Under general direction, designs, develops, and produces a variety of computer, Web and/or multimedia graphics, animation, video production, sound and/or content materials to support program needs; performs related duties as required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and implement creative designs and graphics using HTML and CSS.
- Efficiently create visual designs that address business, brand, market, and user requirements, including design and production of screen layouts, prototypes, color palettes, typography, and interface elements.
- Work with existing staff to build mockups and prototypes, establish and create style guidelines and style guide documents as project deliverables.
- Consulting clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of websites and asking questions to obtain information; clarify details and implement information.
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
- Asset Library formation and management including maintenance of templates and image archives.
- Responsible for providing support to program dynamic Web Sites using ASP, PHP, ASP.NET, CF or any other scripting language.
Skills Required:
-Proficient in Macromedia Flash Proficient in vector graphics (Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand) Intermediate or higher raster graphics (Adobe Photoshop) Ability to accurately translate business requirements into marketing oriented multimedia design.
-Excellent working knowledge in design based tools such as Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, Freehand, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Corel Draw
-Hands-on knowledge of current web markup or scripting languages HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
-Experience and understanding of site architecture, user experience, color theory and color management on the web, proper file formats, compression methods and techniques, etc.
-Extreme attention to detail and craftsmanship.
-Ability to take direction and complete tasks quickly and efficiently
-Excellent time management skills; ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
-Fair knowledge of Data Base driven websites, ASP, JSP, PHP, Cold Fusion, IIS 5.0 to provide support.
-Ability to communicate effectively in English with good Verbal and writing skills
-Ability to collaborate with a team or work autonomously
-A creative and resourceful problem-solving mindset
