Responsibilities:
- Coordination with Research and Development department (R&D) for development of new medicines
- Thorough research and analysis of existing and potential suppliers for raw material, locally and international.
- Maintain documentation of all samples received, communication record, and information database for new and existing, local and foreign suppliers.
- Research and analysis of existing and potential suppliers for packaging material from local and international markets.
- Collection, sorting and implementation of new ideas pertaining to new products.
- Organizing meeting with newly developed suppliers for raw material and tall manufacturing to develop understanding of needs.
- Close coordination with creative department to develop creative artwork for upcoming products and new packaging for existing products including unit pack, insert, label/foil, outer pack, etc.
- Close coordination with Pakistan Operations for development of new products and new packaging for existing products.
- Coordination with registration department to expedite registration process of new products.
- Organizing inter-departmental meetings to synchronize progress on new product development.
- Conducting in-house and outdoor test surveys of new products, based on parameters provided by R&D. Analyzing feedback and coordinating with the R&D department for implementing the suggestions based upon their feasibility.
- Close coordination with supply chain department to expedite development of packaging material for newly modified/developed products for Pakistan and CIS countries.
- Communication with international locations to get feedback pertaining to new products.
- Communication with logistics department to ensure dispatch of samples to international locations
- Ensure timely dispatch and quality of newly developed products through coordination with quality department and production departments i.e. candy plant and production department at manufacturing unit.
