[Full-time] Security Manager at Sunway Lost World Hotel Tambun Ipoh

Responsibilities:
To maintain an effective security organization and system that will safeguard the hotel guests, assets and the safety as well as security of employees
Capable of handling training, emergency evacuation, understanding of OSHA and working with local authorities
To develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures
Responsible to ensure effective performance of security under your charge
Responsible to effectively train, motivate and monitor the security personnel
Responsible to ensure security personnel are equipped and physically/mentally fit for the duties assigned
To ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulation and coordinate all contact with the appropriate agencies
To develop and implement crisis management policies in accordance with the hotel guidelines.

Requirements:
Preferably manager specializing in security/armed forces/protective services or equivalent
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Highly motivated, physically fit and committed
Meticulous, result oriented, strong leadership skills and investigation techniques
Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty and integrity and excellent work ethic
Firm and tactful when dealing with people
Ex-army personnel or ex-police forced is preferred
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken
